Field input problem - buglet?
I cannot change this value from 15.0 to 20.0 using any combination of the keys:
2, 0, dot, Delete, Insert, Backspace, Left-Arrow, Right-Arrow.
It's not a big deal since Up-Arrow can be used but it seems to be a fault.

I can't get it to change any other way either.
But can't you use Enable instead of Disable to get the settings you want?

I can get the settings very easily but it's just odd that this cannot be achieved with obvious keys.
Enable rather than disable spreads out my final page too widely as it only has 3 systems.
I think what you're seeing is that MuseScore is not letting you enter any value less than the minimum, so if you attempt to type a "2" while the whole field is selected, it gets rejected. Try selecting just the "2" if your goal is to replace that digit with a 2.

Hats Off! Selecting individual characters does allow replacement. It's not intuitive but it does give a way of keyboard only. As I said, it's really trivial but just a bit odd.

Well, the way easier way of changing values with keyboard is just use the cursor up/down - I pretty never edit spinboxes any other way anyhow.
I'm not sure if there are good UI standards for how this should work, but I imagine it's pretty typical for any spinbox in any program where there are constraints on the value. Maybe some programs let you type bad values but don't complain until you hit OK?

I hadn't thought about the constraints but I guess that must be the cause. Cursor-Up/Down is the easiest fix.

Is there a default for enable and disable? I never mess with it. When I open a piano/vocal score, it is set to Enable. For an orchestra score, it is set to Disable.

Not sure. I always use my last score as a style template.

The default depends on the version the score was created with. Prior to 3.6 the features didn’t exist, so when opening such a score in question z6, is defaults to off. For all scores created in 3.6, it defaults to on.
