1) create a file with multiple bars rests
2) Create part from this file
3) Export part to pdf
The multiple rests in the exported pdf do not show the dark bar that is visible in the part

The main score doesn't have any multimeasure rests, so won't show them in the PDF.
The part though does have them (set), and the PDF you attached does show them, and properly too, in Edge and in Adobe Reader.
So I don't get what the problem is?
Apologies! They are in the pdf and printed out properly. For some reason Foxit PdfReade3r did not display the multi bar rests properly. When I opened the file in Acrobat Reader they displayed properly. So its not a Musescore problem at all!
