How to activate a page break to page 1 of my score?
There are 6 items listed in the Master Pallet under Breaks and Spaces.
Which one do I apply and how to isolate page 1 from page 2?

To add an element from the palette, select the place in your score you want to apply it (in this case, a measure, or a barline) then click the palette element.
Or just select the measure and hit Ctrl+Return (for a page break) or Return (for a system break)
