Another MIDI keyboard issue

Yes, I've searched, and I can't find what I'm doing wrong.

Got an Axiom 25 MIDI controller. I've had to wipe my iMac and restore with Time Machine recently.

My iMac sees the MIDI input from it, and Logic Pro sees it and responds in kind.

Not so with MuseScore.

I've followed the directions in the handbook (linked below) - everything between "MIDI Keyboard" and "Virtual Piano Keyboard", other than that I couldn't find the "toggle MIDI on/off" switch that's mentioned: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/note-input#midi-keyboard

Is there a trick unique to Axiom controllers regarding MuseScore? What else can I try?

NEVER MIND - it finally responded after the 3rd cycle of exit/launch. I wonder if V4 will be easier to manage in this way? I guess now I can go and watch the unveiling video since I have a functioning iMac again!
