where is layout
I wanted to increase th size of my notes and stave. everyone suggests going to layout.
Am I missing something. Help please

You are looking at the webiste musescore.com, for sharing scores. To edit the score, you need to download the score, as well as the MuseScore desktop software from this website (https://musescore.org/en/download). Once you are in the desktop software, you can go to the top menu bar to find layout settings.
Not sure who "everyone" is, but there hasn't been a "layout" menu in MuseScore for a very long time. It's been called Format for several years at least. Format / Page Settings is where you increase staff size. But as noted, this is advice is about MuseScore - the music notation software. Your screenshot is not of MuseScore - it's of a website. To make websites larger, you need to use whatever control your web browser provides. usually it's Ctrl + or something like that.
