"Music tile" significantly expands whenever I put a second voice into it.

I don't know either this is a bug or a feature in Musescore but whenever I put a second voice into the fourth tile of the bass staff, the tile just LARGELY expands and I can't adjust it. Does anyone have a solution for this?
(the bug is on the left corner in the first image and bottom of the image in the second image).
