Project
Created score with clarinet and piano. Put an A5 in concert pitch in the clarinet. Doesn't seem to matter about note duration. Only seems to happen on notes >= A5. Seems to happen every time.
Comments
The buzzing seems to be a perfect 5th below the note.
Can confirm, happens especially in piano dynamics (like at measure 57)
I've opened "MS Basic.sf3" from MS4 and "Musescore General.sf3" from MS3 in the Polyphone SoundFont Editor, and samples "Clarinet G#4" and "Clarinet G#5" definitely have a very unpleasant noise in the updated version of the bank, which is not present in the previous version. Same for other samples like "Soprano G#6", "Clean F67" etc.
For some reason every sample in the "MS Basic.SF3" soundbank is changed to alter the sound level or frequency equalisation, and unfortunately sometimes this amplifies existing low-frequency noise, which is especially noticeable when the sample is looped.

For now you can copy the old "MuseScore_General.SF3" from "%Program Files\MuseScore3\sounds" to "%Program Files\MuseScore4\sounds", then change each instrument in your score to use Sounds -> Soundfounts - MuseScore_General. Or just permanently rename the file "MuseScore_General.SF3" to "MS Basic.SF3".
Its always happening with me to when I turn on playback or add a note to the score. My guess is that what happens when you have a bad laptop :( Its a major problem to me too. My suggestion to fix it is to turn down the reverb.
