How to suppress chord playback in version 4

It appears the automatic chord playback feature has been reinstated with version 4. I never want to use this feature. How do I suppress it permanently? Thank you

1, My version of Musescore 4 does not show Properties, only palettes and Instruments

  1. I do not want to have to do this for every score. I want to undo this feature for all scores I ever access. How do I do that.

F8 does nothing useful
Entering as text is not an acceptable workaround:
1. It won't transpose the chords when you transpose keys
2. I have more than 1,000 scores, I'm not going to re-enter all the chords as text
