Score needs Suggestions and Improvements
Hello everybody!
Thanks to some help I was able to be sent an uncorrupted score. After hours of no sleep yesterday and finally transferring over the other parts to the main score, I was able to finish.
Now, I am hoping for feedback from measures 1 through 50 to improve how this will sound if performed by a mixed choir. It is my dream to have this performed in the spring as a tribute to memories, friends, and people who I have to thank for so much.
Please, any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

This is a wonderful piece, and should be performed.
I am confused by what I see and hear in the organ parts. It's hard to say if the problem is in the file, or just how my system is rendering it. MS4 does have some interesting problems. When I panned one organ part hard left and the other hard right, I could begin to pick them out better. In general, the organ parts up an octave tended to get lost. And many of the eight note patterns became eight and two sixteenth patterns. Keyboards serving as pipe organs have 6,8, and 4 foot stops, as you know. Which I think is the sound you are after. If you also pan the choir parts, they will become clearer also.
I'm not sure it is necessary to double any of the choir parts on the organ in this first 50 measures. Let the choir have the glory.
Nice job.

Another question (please pardon this ridiculous question), what exactly do you mean by panning the choir and organ parts? Future me would understand this but I am running on pure caffeine at the moment and my brain might as well be just pure mush.
Thanks!

Open your score. Open the mixer. Above the fader for each channel is the Pan knob. Click on it and move your mouse up or down to move the sound of that channel to the left or right.

I do agree that the organ doesn't need to double the choir part, any suggestions on what to put instead?
I don't have too many ideas as to what to put.
Thanks!
