Jianpu Plugin for Musescore 4 - Attention to tcbhrs and everyone who uses it..

• Dec 28, 2022 - 01:24

Hi,
I just noticed the system for jianpu notation is totally wrong. The correct one should look like the following using the Hunter chorus as an example attached.
0 equals rest. 0---- means rest 4 beats . Thus if 0-- means rest 3 beats and son on. 0 with a single dash below is semiquaver(or 8th note), 2 lines below is semiquaver(16th note) and so on. The dot up is an octave high, 2 dots up is 2 octaves high and son. Same as the low note, a dot down is an octave down, 2 dots down is 2 octaves down and so on. A dot next to a note is the same as a dotted note.

1 means do, 2 means re 3 means mi, 4 means fa, 5 means so 6 means la 7 means ti (or si whoever sings solfege in European way or American way).

It would be nice by using key to do it rather than using 60=C4. Very inconvenient.

Also 1=C means C major if 6=C means e minor.

I hope someone can fix it.
