Same as you delete any file: go to the directory where the file is stored and delete it. If you look at Edit >Preferences >Folders you should see where your scores are stored by default.
Thanks for the replies. Yeah, I was looking for a way to remove it from my home screen in Musescore. I have duplicates that I want to remove. It's getting crowded.
Is it that obvious in other software? In LibreOffice, the only option is to clear the list, just like in MS.

You can clear the recent files list but to delete a file you do it via your operating system, same as for any other file.

There is a fix in the works to allow individual items to be removed from the recent files list, See https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/pull/16507
Did you work out how to do it. I'm still searching. Ridiculous that something so obvious should be made so difficult.
