Project
Import an XML file with chords. I used Band In A Box version 2023. When opening the XML file in Musescore 4.0 the chord letters don't display; only the chord extensions, i.e. m, dim, aug. etc.

Is this a duplicate of #340963: XML Import not displaying chords correctly, they play but cannot be seen. Same source file works in musescore 3.?
The score looks just fine, including all the chord symbols
If not, please provide the XML file too
Same for me, but my workaround is to open the BIAB-XML file in musescore 4, save the file as mscz, close and then reopen, which brings back the chord letters. This works on most BIAB-XML files, although some more complex ones seem to immediately cause a crash of musescore 4 (and other programs such as logic pro) when trying to open.
Again: xml file needed
But this does indeed look like a duplicate of #340963: XML Import not displaying chords correctly, they play but cannot be seen. Same source file works in musescore 3.

Here is the XML file.

I can confirm that when changing the chords in "Style" to jazz, the chords appear in the score.
Workaround: save as mscz, close and reopen MuseScore and score (please test)

That worked.
Rather #334422: [MusicXML] Doesn't show chord symbols when open XML file - export fail

Thank you so much! Worked like a spell.

Thank you, @Jojo-Schmitz! I ran into this with a .mid file I had saved as .mscz before adding chords. However, I didn't have to reopen MuseScore, but only had to close/reopen the individual .mscz document.

True, reloading the score should be enough
