Problem with sound output

Hi. I am working on my recent arrangement for the filipino medley song entitled "Kahapon, Ngayon, at Bukas" with the recent update MuseScore 4.0. While playing the notated score, the sound output seems to be scratchy and static to the point where I can't configure which note was off key. I adjusted the sound mixer (F10) to conjure my preferred dynamics for each instrument and it still had that problem. I did not encountered any problems like this with my previous MuseScore 3.6. Thanks in advance for your help regarding this matter.

Are you using macOS, Windows or Linux? Occasionally for my Linux system, if I've had a web browser open and watched videos, then, when I open MS3, I'll have a scratchy distorted sound. If I let it play for up to 20-30 seconds, and stop and restart playback, nearly every time, the sound problem fixes itself and it's normal. (Not saying that such will work for MS4...)
