Exporting to midi and mxl crashes in MS4

I would like to export a fairly large score (~900 bars in 3/4, 19 staves, moderately dense orchestration) to midi and to mxl if midi is not possible so I can do it in MS3. However, both of these export options crash when I click export (with no crash message, app simply closes), while exporting to mp3 works just fine. The score has no corruption or extra beat issues. I suspect it might be a memory usage issue, but I am not certain.

OS: Windows 10 Version 2009, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.0.0-223472200, revision: 5485621
