Appearance glitch in horizontal continuous view

See the attached gif. In all versions of Musescore 4, this has been an issue, and I'm wondering if it's simply my system. When using horizontal continuous view, if I were to scroll to the right such that the clefs go beyond the left margin of the window, an irritating black box appears. I believe that this was a light grey or white box in the latest version of MuseScore 3. Anyone else experiencing this? Thanks.

EDIT: I should note that this also happens in "light mode" appearance in MuseScore4.
