Different time signatures in different parts
Hi, in the Rondo of Mozart's Oboe quartet K370 (bars 95-107), the oboe goes into 4/4 while the strings stay in the original 6/8 (see attached document 1 with screen shots). In the version on MuseScore (https://musescore.com/user/33586730/scores/6609493), kostenkovd (to whom I am very grateful for uploading this score) has used 3/8 for both oboe and strings, which results in a very difficult-looking oboe part as compared with the original (see document 2). Is it possible to have 4/4 and 6/8 going on together?
Thanks for any advice.
