Automatic word extensions for lyrics?

I am new to MuseScore and am really happy with it overall. In Finale, word extensions are automatically added to final syllables that cover more than one note. Since these word extensions are standard is there a way to add these automatically that I am missing? (Instead of always having to type underscrore every time they are needed). Thank you.
