Guitar Tabs
I am new to this program. All I want to do is to be able to write very simple guitar tabs for a few licks I know. I've tried all kinds of paths with no success. Any thoughts and help would be great.

Great reference, thanks!
Some of the "auto-tab" stuff is "wrong," and I can't figure out how to edit it (i.e., on guitar, it's saying the "G#" on the fourth string is the "16th" fret, rather than the "6th")?? Help!
Thanks,
Marc

Check the handbook for all these details

Thanks - it took some crazy digging around, but I found a "slow" way to do it (somewhat cumbersome).

Hm, strange.. G# on the 4th string is on the 16th fret? Are you sure that you are not misreading your tabs? G# happens to be on 16th fret on the 6th (!) string.

Right, those the "automatic" (and incorrect) numbers the system is putting in, hence my need to edit them!
Thanks for the vid link.

E: I was going to comment about how it's a bit slower to note input in tab due to a lack of hotkeys, but shift-nums actually adjusts note value. However, there seems to be no shift-dot to make dotted notes on the tab staff, so the point still stands a little.
