Chord Entry: Advance chord to next measure (doesn't exist in key mapping?)
I've seen this posted in the community a few times but I still cannot get this to work properly in Musescore 4.
I cannot get my chord entry to advance to the next measure.
I've seen two answers
• shift-arrow
• control-arrow
I'm on a Mac (Venturea 13.2.1) and I thought the issue was the Control-Arrow command which is also used for switching desktop spaces, so I've changed that key command in my Mac, restarted, still doesn't work.
I've gone into the key commands in Musescore and noticed that there is no option for advance cursor: next measure
Only next/previous beat
Has anyone else been stumped by this? I've tried every combination of modifier keys, changed key mapping for my OS as wwell as trying to change it in Musescore. I've made sure that Musescore is up to date. Everything else works beautifully but it's driving me nuts. I'm a gigging musician who makes chord charts with only little bits of written notation when necessary. Chords and rhythms are my primary useage and it's just a time-suck.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

As I said in https://musescore.com/groups/improving-musescore-com/discuss/5179714:
Cmd+arrows is the answer though (for Mac), but it is known that this doesn't work always.
And there is a shortcut for "Go to next measure / move text right quickly "

Yeah, I was hoping if I put this in the correct forum, I might catch someone who has the same issue and solved it. The shortcut for “go to next measure / move text right quickly” isn’t working for chord symbols.
Tried every variation of modifier and went through the shortcuts meticulously.
I can only get them to move by a quarter note.
So weird!
Thanks for chiming in though!
