Guitar Ties Not Working
Playback of electric guitar is not correct when tied. For example, if a quaver tied to a crotchet is notated, the playback will be a quaver followed by a crotchet, despite having tied the notes. Just updated to (Revision OS: macOS 13.1, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 4.0.1-230121751, revision: 9b70a8c).

Hi, thanks for speedy reply. Attached is a sample of the bug - it only applies to distorted guitar.

Indeed, it's a known issue that as you say, only applies when using distortion (or perhaps other effects). I thought there wasa GitHub issue for this, but I can't find it, so best to open one now at https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues
I have the same problem. When writing for the Electric Guitar (sheet music, not tablature) instrument, when I use the "Overdrive" feature from the Text Pallette, MuseScore is not recognizing any ties in the Electric Guitar part after the overdriven section. Currently running MuseScore 4.2.1.240230937, revision d757433 on iOS.

Indeed, it's a known issue (fixed for the 4.2.0 and... broken again in the 4.2.1)🥺
Due to your text "Overdrive" measure 55, Electric Guitar Staff.
