To make glissandi smooth

Hello,

It's always been something I wish was available for most of my compositions : real smooth glissandi.

For now what it does, if you do it for like going from E to C, is dividing the length of the note in 4 to chromatically go to C. This is logical, but very ugly when it's a bit long. Especially for instruments such as Shakuhashi, which allow this irl, and obviously for strings.
Is it possible to implement smooth, non-12tones-unsmooth glissandi ? It would drastically increase the experience.
