Playback engine requirements
I've tested MuseScore 4 and I've decided keep using MuseScore 3. This is mainly due to high hardware requirements for the new playback engine (producing horrible crackling noise in my computers), combined with the impossibility to save scores in MU3 format (that produces a perfect playback).
- To avoid this problem it would be nice if MU4 had the possibility to use MU3 playback engine too. Users could migrate to MU4, taking advantage of the other improvements, and could use MU4 files written by other people.
- A minor solution would be to have the possibility of saving scores in MU3 format, assuming the inevitable losses, for compatibility with MU3 users.
- I also think that the file extension should be different for each format, as the new format is not readable by previous version.
