Alternated stem direction over invisible rests
Hi!
I used to alternate stem direction over invisible rests (as shown in picture) in MuseScore 3.6 but no longer on 4 :-/ Could this be a bug? Other users I've talked to are also having this same issue. Help anyone?
Thanks in advance :-)

Enter the notes and rests in Voice 1
Enter notes and rests in Voice 2
In Voice 1, select the two rests that you want to beam across, then select "Join beams"
Press V to make them invisible
Repeat for Voice 2

Thanks underquark! I'd say that was a great help, except for the fact that when I select the rests over which I want to beam, the property options for beams aren't available. Only when notes are select do they become available. Or am I doing something wrong?

Look in the Beams Palette, not in the properties of the note or rest.

Right! Thanks a lot. That was really a big help. My default version of MuseScore 4 didn't have the Beam Property pallete in the list, which is odd. Seeing that there was a similar function in properties just made me believe it had been moved :-/ So I had to add the Beam pallete to my list and now everything is back to normal. Thanks once again!
