Waveform not showing up when adding audio track from youtube

Hello, I tried syncing a couple of sheets with youtube audio but I never managed to display the waveform of the audio track. I've tried at least ten videos, the audio imports into musescore but the waveform remains empty and if I want to sync the sheet music the only way is to press M manually which is not ideal. I know the feature is there, so am I doing something wrong or is it just not working? Thank you!
