circle notes played endlessly
Notes with a "Circled Large" head are played endlessly what ever is their nominal duration.
This is the case in MU4.0.2, but not in MU3.6.2.
Just changing back the head to the normal makes the notes sounding correctly.

Is there some reason you need the note circled? Or are you just pointing out thigs that don't work.

I'm using circled heads and other types of head for indicating when some special playing technic are required. Such as triggering a computer effect while playing.
I can confirm this, seems to affect MS Basic (or presumably other soundfonts) but not Muse Sounds. See https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/16890
