Can't access scores, 'Android OS without root access"

I have been trying to access multiple different scores on the Musescore mobile app. I have a Samsung A22 and it is has been recently updated. When I enter a score, a message pops up reading "This score is unavailable. Your device hasn't been verified by Google Play. You need to install the official version of Android OS (without root access). What does this mean and how can I fix it? I have tried reinstalling the application.
