Notes not match their corresponding sound
In the uploaded MU4 file, the first and the last notes in the third measure are on the G-line, but sound as fa (same as the second eighth note in-F-space of the third measure). The last 2measures are the copy of the third and fourth measures which clearly shows the problem by the ties.
Please help.
Thanks,

If you look closely those notes are not centered on the G line. It seems like you dragged them up from the F space. Delete them and enter G's.
I think you have entered slurs instead of ties.

Delete the "bugged" notes, input them using "Entering note input mode", and the problem was gone. Thank you bobjp.

That's the easiest way to correct it is to select all and press Ctrl-R (reset to default position).
I assume you have changed the note's y-offset.
When you select a note, you can change the y-offset in the inspector / chords (version 3.6.2) without changing the pitch.
I have no idea what this function can be useful for.

I also noticed that sometimes notes get dragged in a strange manner so that they move freely without snapping to the lines. Does anybody know what triggers tht behavior and if it is actually intedned?
