Corrupted File

I recently had my computer (Mac) give up the ghost on me while I was working on a score. I had time Machine on so I was able to access the auto save from about an hour before total failure. The problem is that Musescore is saying file corrupted and will not open the autosave. I have tried the methods given suggested here https://musescore.org/en/node/335842 to no avail. Any suggestions? Also i have have tried to upload the file here but it will not let me. It is a mscz.autosave file. Any help is appreciated
