Small note-heads and fitting them in the measure
I have got the handle on things in terms of sizing noteheads, but am having a problem with fitting the notes inside the staff. Here is an example to see what I am aiming for.

Also, how do I get the notes (or noteheads) in the treble staff to extend into the bass staff like the ones in the image?
