Overlaying note beams
I've been searching around here and I can't seem to find a solution to duplicating the beams in the picture.
When I use a second "voice" it doesn't come out like the picture. In this example, we have a 16th note & a 8th note with a dot on the same spot. The latter has a beam to a similar note.
Is this even possible to replicate in Musescore?

In the attached you can see what happens when I try to replicate this in Musescore using voixes.

Click on the 1/16th note head that you want to merge with the dotted 1/8th and use keyboard shortcut V to make it invisible - and hey presto...

Thanks Steve, I worked it out just as your post appeared. Thank you.

Ok, I worked it out. Here is the solution: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/2/noteheads-0#shared-noteheads
I just had to make the 16th note invisible for the stems to share the noteheads.
