The rests in two-part staves disappear.
The rests in two-part staves (that were previously merged) disappear.
How can they be made visible again?

Select all, then Tools > Voices > Exchange voice 1-2 twice.

Thx - but unfortunately quite time consuming with large orchestral scores.... :-(
