Updating from 4.0 to 4.1 On Chromebook

I hit the update button, the file downloads, then I tried installing the file from terminal but Musescore still opens in 4.0 not 4.1
What am I doing wrong? and why isn't there a simpler way to update?!?!

The automatic update on Linux doesn't work from the menu indeed. Instead, run the following in a terminal:

mscore4portable update

This will automatically download and install all needed files.
