connecting Tab to treble clef
How do I put this. I'm trying to get the Tab to automatically write out what I'm putting on the Treble Clef. Is there a way, or setting that I can make this happen?

The easiest is to use the Guitar + Tablature Template (Solo category) when creating a new score.

Ok I must have a very outdated version of MuseScore, I'm using I guess Gen 3?

No matter, same way (and same template) with Version 3 (3.6.2)
To know the used version, see in menu Help/ About...
If the notes are already written, press "i", select the staff 1 of the instrument and press "Add linked staff". Now select the desired tab version in the pull-down menu of the staff.
'Linked' means that the TAB will automatically be filled according to the notes in the standard staff.
Of course, this only works for instruments that support a TAB.
