deleting piano staff from a capella song
I have this 4 part a capella song, I'll Fly Away. I want to remove the piano grand staff to fit the piece on to 2 pages. I searched help and tried selecting the first measure, shift slick, select last measure of line. cmd. delete. It is not working. What am I missing? Thanks in advance.

jm6stringer's answer does what you literally asked for. However, you say you want to do that to get the music to fit on the page and therefore, but it may not be what you really need as it completely removes the piano part from the score. It may be better to create a Custom Part that contains only the voices. See https://musescore.org/en/handbook/4/parts#creating-custom-parts for how to do that. The piano will remain in the main score but the vocal only part can be used to create hard copies for the singers.
