How to fix layout of multiple bass notes in tabs?

• Sep 9, 2023 - 21:34

In the attached file, when two or more bass notes fall below the tab lines, Musescore renders their tab symbols ontop of each other, making them unreadable.

Even worse, their position doesn't seem to be editable, like most symbols are, as I'm unable to select one and move it down, so they don't overlap.

Is there any way to fix or work around this?

It's a bit the same story as in your previous thread (red square). You reacted well by entering the bass notes only in one voice.
In Baroque lute score, you've noticed that all the signs below the staff: slash, double slash, triple slash, then the numbers 4, 5 and 6 are located strictly on the same line, the same height horizontally below the staff. This is how Baroque lute scores are notated (there are no extra lines).
And so, if you enter several bass notes as in a chord/vertically , they inevitably collide, since no extra line is created as already mentioned.
The only solution is to remove one of these bass notes from the chord. Eg: 2Estudio_Rítmico_bflatmaj_0.mscz
