Publishing Charts made in MuseScore
Good evening!
I am here looking into the legality of publishing marching band charts (getting involved with a publishing company, securing the rights properly, etc.) however I use MuseScore to arrange. I’ve been given a very vague gist about MuseScore not owning the right licensing to be involved in that stuff, and that if a chart is arranged in MuseScore it is void of actually being profitable/officially published.
I was wondering if someone could further disambiguate this for me. I am confused as to why I can’t be a published arranger as a MuseScore user - or if this is just total B.S.
Other softwares are not user friendly and do not sound as good as the MuseSounds + MDL combo (without studio recording or spending a bajillion dollars). I want to stay here and make a decent side hustle out of arranging. Is this possible?

The is no reason you can't give a publisher a PDF and an mp3 produced by MuseScore of your music.
