Dropdowns drop UP (and off-screen) (v3.7)
On a Windows 11 laptop with an additional external monitor, clicking on a menu item, the dropdown sometimes appears above the Musescore window, so if full-screen, is invisible and inaccessible. Without the external monitor, the dropdowns always drop down. I have not observed this behavior on 4.1, but since I don't use it that much I cannot be sure that it is free of this bug. The work-around is to shrink the Musescore window so the top of the window is well below the top of the screen. I don't know whether this is a Musescore issue or a Windows issue.

Will test and reply in a couple of days when I have access to that machine again.

Not only is v3.6.2 fine (Dropdowns drop down, within the window), but after installing v3.6.2, v3.7 started behaving as well ! (I'll keep an eye out for any inconsistent behavior). One other odd thing - 3.7 icons and menu fonts were huge (I was just too lazy to change it). They were tiny in v3.6.2, and after v3.6.2 was installed, 3.7 icons and menu fonts became reasonably sized !
Let me know if you want screen-shots.
Maybe I missed instructions that 3.7 is not intended to run stand-alone, but over an existing 3.6.2 installation ?

Hello,
I had the same situation I think.
Change HDPI compatibility mode to system.
Or try 3.7 with the 32 bit version.
If that works fine, Qt version and HDPI will be the problem as stated above is my experience.

Thanks; I assume your response applies only to the icons and menu font sizes, but not the dropdown issue ? Anyway, thanks again, I'll play with those when I get a chance ...
