Crash caused by pasting into Piccolo
I am creating a full orchestral score with about 30 instrument staves. Very often when I cut and paste a few bars of piccolo melody into another part of the piccolo stave the programme crashes immediately. I have not noticed it happening when I paste multi instrument sections. The section of score I am working on has not been corrupted.
I have noticed however that when scores become corrupted it is often, but not exclusively, in the piccolo stave.

(I previewed before I finished editing and when I went back to edit all I could do was post...) Anyway, I always have piccolo as the top stave of my score, so that stave does have other attributes such as tempo and rehearsal marks, attached to it, and I wonder if that is the root of the problem?

I should add that before pasting the melody I had just inserted a couple of dozen extra bars using control insert. Just now I have tried deleting the tempo marker for the section and reapplying and then using Add/Bars/after selection and the score did not crash when I pasted the melody from earlier in the stave, using ctrl X, ctrl V as usual.
In order for someone to investigate, please attach your score and give precise steps to reproduce the probom.
