Unable deleting extra parts from score in MS4
I am unable to delete extra parts from my score. Through trial and error I ended up with 4 parts, all named Piano 2 and I cannot get rid of them. Once I click on the three dots in the parts dialog there is no "delete" option, only a "reset". Is that a bug? Or am I missing soemthing

You delete them in the Instruments tab

I have some parts of my existing instruments unnecessarily doubled in the parts section. I want to keep the instruments, but I want to delete the doubled parts. That doesn't work as described in the handbook. There is no "delete" option, only a "reset" whatever that means.

Please post the score.
Post the score. Someone may be able to fix it via "conventional" means or by using a Zip/archive manager program to delete the Excerpts folder or to extract the MSCX (basic music score) file. If someone fixes it and tells you how they did it you (and others reading this thread) can DIY next time.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't really need this fixed for now, I can work around it. But it remains the fact that instrument parts created from the parts section in MS 4 by clicking "Open All" cannot be deleted, at least not in any conventional way, e.g. by a "delete" command. On the other hand, a single part created with the "Create New Part" command (also located in the parts section) can be deleted by clicking on the three dots to the right of the part name. In my case there were extra parts created automatically and I would have preferred to delete them but that was not possible. I think that should be changed.
