Can you insert Notes (from another part) in a rest measure
I have a couple of rest measures and in those measures I would like to show another part in lighter smaller notes. Can that be done in MuseScore?

Yes, just enter the notes, if you want to keep the rest in voice 2, them select them, right click, note properties, small

When I entered the notes, the rest disappears. I made the notes small as you suggested, but still can't figure how you get the Whole rest back in the staff!

Did you enter the notes in voice 2? If not, exchange voice 1 and 2
