Number 8 on top of the Treble Clef
When I upgraded to version 4 I now see a small number 8 on the top of the treble clef. Why, and how do I get rid of it?
Thank you,
Bob

It is a Treble clef ottava alta, one octave higher than the regular treble clef. Used by eg. Piccolo flute
JoJo,
Thank you for that explanation. I am doing work the fife, which would follow the rules of the Piccolo.
