Chords missing from parts... and rehearsal mark too, turns out
No, I didn't import a midi or MXML. No, they don't show up as the abbreviations used to write them in. No, they don't reappear on reload. Yes, I tried doing "reset all formatting" (because hairpins weren't showing up). Yes, I reloaded after that. No, they don't seem to be invisible or misplaced
In file 1 - main score, at rehearsal mark A3 there are chords in the bars immediately after Abdim7.
In file 2 - trombone part, there's a big gap in that place. WAIT. I just noticed that the rehearsal mark is absent too, yet again only some of them, and they're absent from the timeline too... so, it's measure 130 and onwards.

In fact, out of 11 rehearsal marks, only 5 are present in the part... I really should have invested in a notation software years ago.

I see all 11 rehearsal marks in score and part

Yes, as I wrote in the other comment, I had since the post already went through the main score and cut-pasted every rehearsal mark and most chords that didn't exist on the part, leading them to finally appear. If I notice any more missing chords, I'll report back wit the measure number. If the problem presents itself again when exporting a new part, I'll upload that one before manually fixing it.

I checked: at rehearsal mark B3, the first following measure is missing an F6/9 on the trombone part that is present in the main score. Idem at B4 with an F6

Note that I've since reinstated the rehearsal marks and several of the chords.

I've spent some time in this score, and have several questions.
As far as things missing in parts, I suggest this instead. In the main score, delete and re-enter the F6/9 chord. It then appeared in the part. I imagine the same would work for rehearsal marks. C+P seems like a long route to take.
But the main question about that for me is how you entered those things to begin with. Personally I think it best to do everything in the score. All the time.
I found measure 35 in the drum part...interesting. Is there as reason everything but the kick is hidden? And then there are the hidden, and marked to not play, kick parts. I realize this piece is not finished. You are experimenting. I get it.
There's more, but it will have to wait. Also might not be important.

C+p is faster to restore them. Click in the main score what's missing in the other, ctrl+x, the note it was attached to is automatically selected, ctrl+v, done.
I entered them in the main score. I may have started the project in 3.x, can't remember for sure, but if I did, those chords were entered when I was already in MS4.
The drum part has two purposes: 1. being an empty score with rehearsal marks / repeats / double barlines etc. and a couple cues (be it "play what you want but with these accents" and I use the slash notation, or "play these accents on the kick" and I write them on the kick) and 2. providing me with an audio reference of what the drums will tend to sound like, by including a "default part" that won't be printed (because the drummer knows to do that and more from just being told "comping")

However, if there's kicks that are both invisible and marked not to play, that's unintentional, because then they're pointless. Do you have a measure number?
In reply to I've spent some time in this… by bobjp
I checked the whole score. The only invisible kicks are those in the beginning of the 3/4 part, and they're all marked to play. Did you possibly mistake the hihat pedal crosshead for a kick, since they're written on the same line? Those are also marked to play, but they're not as obvious as a kick.
