difficulty downloading Muse software
I am a fairly long time Finale User. I was recently told about Musescore as an creditable and free alternative, so yesterday I tried to download the software. I have an iMac with the current release of the Operation System, Sonoma 14.3. There is more than enough space to accept a download. My release of Firefox is also current, though I would think that would not matter for this.
I went to your web site and clicked the 'Free download' button. So far, that has produced a Muse Hub Icon on my desktop. When I click on that, It shows a window with Muse Hub at the top and an arrow pointing to my Application Folder on the bottom. The only clickable part is the MuseHub. When I do that it asks my for my Apple ID password to download a 'Helper' When I provide that I get an error box saying to activate Full Disk Access. When I pull up Full Disk Access there are a number of application for which I could activate FDA but nothing for 'Muse' or 'Muse Hub'. I have repeated the download process several times, woth no change in outcome, and I still do not have the software. My other choice is to pay about 100.00 and download the Finale Upgrade.

Not sure what is happening with the Muse Hub application.
You can also download MuseScore withou the Muse hub, check this link: https://musescore.org/en/download/musescore.dmg
You need the Muse Hub if you want to additional Muse Sounds library.
And to add, perhaps some more information can be found here for the Muse Hub: https://www.musehub.com/
I don't own a mac....so cannot verify, but see this step being mentioned as important:
Important Note: You must run Muse Hub from your Applications folder.
