Measures per system
Is there a way to format my score such that there are four measures per system)? Or six measures per system (or any number of measures I choose)? On its own, MuseScore has different numbers of measures per system all down the page and I find it visually confusing. Thank s in advance.

Thank you Jojo, I appreciate it. So it does not seem that I can set a standard number of measures per system. I would have to go into each system and manually insert the system break, for every system in the song. Am I correct?

There's also a tool for that

I looked but couldn't find one. Do you know where I can find it in the menu? And which menu?

I found it! It's in the Format menu. The choice is "Add/remove system breaks". When I click that, it asks how many measures per system break, for the entire song. Problem solved. Thanks Jojo!
Format >Add/remove system breaks >Break systems every [---] bars will set a maximum number of bars per system but if you fill a bar with too many notes then you'll get less than that number.
