xml files
Good evening. I'm trying to prepare a score for Braille printing. Previously, we had used .xml files, which worked perfectly, but now using .musicxml, it's not going through. Do you have any suggestions? Is the newer file type usually compatible with other software?

there's no difference, content wise, between a .xml and a .musicxml file. If need be just rename

Depends on your needs. Some older programs don't take .musicxml

As you stated: "using .musicxml, it's not going through"; therefore, if you "just leave it as .musicxml" it likely won't go through again.
So, in your case, I would rename the file extension to ".xml".
