Multi-row accidental support on Roman Numeral Analysis

With Figured Bass, it is straightforward to add accidentals to multiple rows of figures, i.e. 7 with a #3 below it or b9 5 #3 etc. Holding shift and clicking enter goes to the row below without creating a new column. Why is this not possible on Roman Numeral analysis? adding an accidental after a figured bass number does not go to the next row and shift+enter moves to the next note. The only workaround is to create the RN and Figured Bass separately, however they have different size, fonts, and spacing so it looks ugly.
