Musescore4 not autosaving at all on mac
I have autosave every 5 minutes set in my preferences- I just lost about an hour's work from a crash (for the first time since swapping to MS4) and went to the session folder in application support to find no scores, despite having spent a long time working in MS4 over the last couple of weeks. The corresponding file for MS3 is rammed with autosaves, so I know I am in the right place. Am I being an idiot or is something wrong?

There is no "session folder" in MU4 - that was an MU3 thing. Your autosave file is in the same folder as the score itself.
Needless to say, you should never ever go anywhere near a full hour without saving normally, though, autosave or not! Autosave is only for disaster recovery, not a substitute for normal saving.
