help! - adding notes results in increasing the measures duration
Hello!
I am working on an orchestral score. The score is finished, I only would like to add a few corrections. In one measure I forgot one instrument, which I would like to add now. When I click into the measure and press N, the normal quarter note in blue open. When I place it into the 2/4 measure it does not appear normally, but adds a quarter to the whole measure duration. And I don't know how to fix this! To know what I mean, two pic: 1) situation before, 2) situation after typing in a normal quarter to the measure.
By the way: The typesetting of the score was without problems. And creating a new score and putting notes in measures there does not produce this problem.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Best wishes,
Tobias

Thanks againf or the help!

A shortcut for this function, yes: Ctrl + I (Insert). It's a toggle.
That's certainly what you've done.
