Musescore Studio 4.4 update not found
- When I open 4.3.2, it does not tell me there is an update.
- When I use the Help to check for updates, it does not find one
- When I open MuseHub, it tells me it's downloading Studio update, but just spins forever...
makes me wonder if anyone tests this stuff before releasing.
I am on Windows 11.

I think this is how they do releases.
First, the most active Musescore users download and install the new version manually. They will be the first to experience all the new bugs.
And only then the Musescore team rolls out the update to the rest.

If that's true, that's a shame. They call out these steps in the documents, so they should work.

I also installed it from the latest Hub. BUT I was not able to log into the hub itself- When I try to log in, it tells me I don't have an account, but I sure do- am on it now and also use it on musescore.com. But it let me download the 4.4 version regardless, and my recent files were there. Weird.

The Muse hub account is different and separate from the musescore.org and .com account.
Same here, but I'm on Windows 10
I experience the same for 1. and 2.; see attached image for message after 2.. Operating system Q4OS (Linux).
