Install MuseScore 4.4.1
I'm having similar difficulties to many in these forums! I was prompted to download an updated version of Musescore which I then made executable with chmod +x and ran with the install option. I cannot access either the updated version or the Musescore 4 version that I was running. V4 scores are not compatible with V3 and, not being a confident Linux user, I am at a loss to know how to recover the situation.
Running on Acer Spin 312
Help, please!!

You didn't install it as root, using sudo?

Dowload appimage, (without sudo) do chmod +x and run it without the install option - without sudo. One does not need to 'install' an appimage to run it.
Thanks for your helps...none of which I understood. Finally figures how to revert to my previous version and will stick with that until bugs are ironed out (if ever!) with the updates...
When you tried running the 4.4.1 AppImage, did it say something about OpenGL?
